In this talk attendees will learn about the history of ethics, the differing premises that philosophers make in coming to their ethics, and how theories of human nature—and psychology—influence the systems of ethics that develop. In the talk we will survey the fundamental similarities and difference between the dominant ethical theories throughout history and today.
